Bowling Glossary

Icy
A term to describe a lane condition with lot of oil, usually no dry area on the lane and not much hook at all.

In The Grove
Lined up and striking a lot. Focused with lots of momentum.

In Time
In a good rythum and pace. All the parts of the game are working together.

Inside Out Swing
An armswing that moves from inside to outside, usually the player throws the ball a little straighter that has this type of swing.

Inside Line
The inside line is a strike line that is usually considered inside the third arrow or more.
